Traci A. Kimball MD | Founder & Executive Chairwoman

Dr. Kimball (aka The Wound Wizard TM) received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from The University of Texas at Austin and her Doctorate of Medicine Degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and completed vascular surgery research at the University of Utah. She completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Healthcare Executive Leadership at The Denver University Daniel’s College of Business. She is a general surgeon by training and holds her certificate of additional qualification from the American Board of Wound Management as a board-certified Wound Specialist Physician.

Dr. Kimball has been practicing in the wound care field for nine years in various settings. Previously as the Medical Director of Wound Management Services for PACE, a program of all-inclusive care for the elderly, Dr. Kimball championed geriatric wound and vascular outreach services within the PACE model, developing a coordinated wound and vascular service among multiple settings and disciplines, and successfully promoting patient-centered wound management and quality care. Dr. Kimball’s primary professional goal is to build a thriving, self-sustainable, all-inclusive, whole-person restoration, clinical research center supported by the innovations of WISH.

She displays a passion for her field, participating heavily in community, patient, caregiver, and clinician education locally. She also contributes to the literature nationally on wound-related topics in partnership with Wound Care Learning Network and has authored manuscripts featured in Today’s Wound Clinic. She has held multiple leadership positions and serves as a mentor to many nurses and nurse practitioners in her organization.

In her free time, Dr. Kimball enjoys watching her son play competitive league hockey, and her daughter soar as an elite cheerleader.

Dr. Kimball service leadership compliments her enthusiastic drive for patient care innovation. She is passionate about being a key expert & leader in the wound care medical practices and industries. She and her team develop innovative human and veterinary designs that consistently seek to improve the quality and delivery of care to patient-clients whether human or furry friends.

Carolyn Burek MS | Director of Research & Regulatory Affairs

Masters in Biochemistry, provides assistance in product formulation research and development, including high-level research on the safety of various ingredients and excipients. Instrumental in project management, client relations, and product development. Providing knowledge from biochemistry, chemistry, and manufacturing to assist with product design and planning, and effective communication and organization with clients.

Neal Lonky MD MPH | Co-Chair Advisory Innovation Mentor

Co-Chairman of the Elected Board of Directors, Chairman of the Quality Committee of the Board of Directors - Oversight of operations and policy for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group that operates in concert with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals in Southern California.
